An opportunity has arisen for a Security Manager, working for aprestigious client in Birmingham

Roles and Responsibilities
To provide a high visibility presence in order to deter
To manage a team ofSecurity Officers
To co-ordinate a working rota, including arranging cover for holidays and sickness, ensuring adequate cover is in place 24 hours per day
To maintain accurate records and logs of visits and any relevant incidents
To liaise with police and other agencies to ensure a co-ordinated approach
To ensure premises are safe and secure at all times
To develop and maintain good working practices and relationships with the client and any other relevant department
To contribute to a team effort by accomplishing results

The successful candidate will have:
Experience of managing a busy control room and car park, auditing, regular patrols and front and back of house security
Essential IT Skills (i.e. Outlook and calendar, Microsoft Word and Excel)
A sound working knowledge of security systems (i.e. access & egress control, CCTV, fire panel etc.)
A current valid SIA license, including CCTV badge
Excellent awareness skills
Experience of working in a similar role
The ability to work as part of a team
The ability and experience to manage a team
