The ideal candidate for the role will:
Support the Security Manager in managing the security operation
Experience of developing team members
Experience in monitoring CCTV and security alarm systems
Confident in assisting in any fire or other emergency situation
Able to deal with changing priorities and work demands
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding customer expectations
Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure
Possess a good command of English and has excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Specific Duties
Assume ownership for managing the team to deliver a professional service on behalf of Sodexo
Ensure 100% compliance with the Assignment Instructions for the site
Ensure health and safety requirements are met at all times
Provide first line response to all incidents in relation to fire, security and health & safety matters
Line manage the team of security personnel deployed to the site
Ensure all site security officers meet the requirements for the client
Provide training to officers when required and challenge poor performance
Ensure all staff are updated with any changes in company policies or client expectations
Promote a positive image at all times to the client, colleagues and visitors to the site
Make sure all site paperwork is correct and maintained to the required standard
Regularly inspect the quality of service being provided and address inconsistencies
Be able to work to strict deadlines

Take a calm, considered yet decisive approach to reactive problem solving

Security Supervisor required to assist the Security Manager in ensuring the effective service delivery of the security operation that is fully compliant with legislation and client offer specification.


You will be required to manage a team of Security Officer’s for a Blue chip Pharmaceutical company. To provide a security presence at the clients premises safeguarding staff and customers and provides excellent customer service.

Provide reports and carry out investigations. Carry out practical tasks including; site patrols; locking and unlocking; access controls, flood defence and fire systems.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Conduct all required training with Security Officers in relation to operational/ legal / client
To undertake audits in relation to service delivery, QMS, ISO as requested.
To complete all administration, as specified by the Security Manager
To ensure that all required training records in relation to all aspects of Security/Legal & Mandatory are delivered and up to date.
To assist in various HR functions as directed by the Security Manager, such as return to work interviews, PDR’s and improvement notices.
To assist the Security Manager with annual reviews of Risk Assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.
To ensure that all procedures for security, safety, health and fire precautions are adhered to in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy
To supervise the Security team and ensure adequate staff are in place to deliver the required standards
