At TNT we take security and loss prevention seriously. Our dedicated Security team ensure that we have an embedded culture of security compliance.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Security Manager to join our team in the South (London). The role will primarily be based out of our Croydon depot, but you will also be responsible for our Byfleet and London City depots. As a result, the role will require flexibility to travel between the sites. The role will come with a company car.
Key to the success of this role will be the integration and partnership approach taken with the Depot Management teams. This role is demanding, challenging and varied and as Security is a 24 hour job, applicants will need to be flexible with working hours as evening, night and weekend work will be required.
The primary function of this role is to protect TNT's customer consignments, protect the assets of TNT and provide a safe and secure working environment for TNT staff and its service providers / partners. In order to be considered for this role it is essential that you are able to demonstrate the following core and specialist skills:-
* Security experience gained within the Police
* Security experience gained within a commercial environment
* Security experience in logistics, experience in logistics, express or freight
* Proven investigation skills, including interviewing ability
* General knowledge and experience of criminal law
* Working knowledge of security equipment (eg CCTV)
* Experienced in Security Risk Assessments
* Experience in Intelligence / Information Handling
