As a member of the Estee Lauder Global Security Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Regional Security Director with the implementation and management of the Global Security strategy and programs; identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining trademark protection and security processes across all regional business units to reduce risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure to liability in all areas. This position will assist the Regional Security Director to be the primary point of contact within the Asia Pacific Region to provide expertise, direction and support on all matters relating to physical security, supply chain security, counterfeiting trademark protection, security risk identification, analysis and mitigation, manufacturing operations, security awareness, crisis management, travel security, executive protection security and investigative matters. The incumbent will have a proactive approach and work closely with all business lines.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The “Duty of Care” of the employees of ELC is the highest priority. Therefore the monitoring of the travel security program and working closely with the travel security and risk management vendors, corporate security organizations/network and ELC regional affiliates is highly important to ensure the safety/security of ELC employees and the protection of company assets.
Work closely with investigation firms, law firms and law enforcement agencies to monitor/direct counterfeit investigations in Asia Pacific Regional Countries with the exception of China as required.
Screen routine enquiries from law enforcement and other agencies as well as Affiliates by gathering, reviewing and evaluating relevant data and recommending whether sufficient information exists to warrant further investigation.
Conduct grey market investigations and financial audits by researching required background information and data.
Conduct physical security and coding audits.
Maintain case filing system to track and analyse relevant data. Monitor, follow-up and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Conduct internal employee investigations.
Participate in meetings and conferences as required.
Monitor the internet for the region regarding trademark protection issues.
Develop and conduct crisis management and security awareness training programs for ELC regional affiliates and trademark protection training programs for regional law enforcement agencies.
Conduct research to identify trends and threats to trademarks.
Liaise and attend meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.

Fluency in the Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin dialects) preferred and English languages (Both verbal and written) required.
Able to work within tight deadlines.
Knowledge of the cosmetic industry preferable.
Prior corporate security experience preferable.
Prior law enforcement investigation experience required.
Strong law enforcement contacts in the region required.

Computer Skills:

Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and Internet and e-mail. The use of i2 analytical tools preferable.

Literacy and Numeracy:
Able to acquire and analyse data from a wide range of sources to accomplish objectives.
